Rates and Insurance
Many clients choose to invest in therapy privately because they value the flexibility, privacy, and individualized care that private-pay therapy can provide. Private-pay services also allow for greater flexibility in treatment planning and make it possible to offer specialized services such as walk-and-talk therapy and adult ADHD assessments.
I am in-network with several insurance plans, and some clients choose to utilize those benefits. Others choose to use out-of-network benefits when available, while some prefer to work with me privately. My goal is to help you find the option that best fits your needs, preferences, and circumstances.
Please note that walk-and-talk therapy and adult ADHD assessments are private-pay services and are not billed through insurance.

Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for all medical and mental health care services paid out of pocket. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
