Does This Sound Familiar?

Woman Sitting Alone

You replace conversations in your head long after they end.

You often worry if you handled things "the right way"

Your mind keeps planning, questioning, or analzing even when you're trying to rest.

You feel responsible for others' emotions, even though a part of you wonders if that's really yours to manage.

You struggle with focus, lose track of tasks, and feel mentally exhausted from trying to stay organized.

You start tasks easily but lose interest before you can finish.

Small setbacks in routine can feel overwhelming.

You find yourself giving so much in your relationships and roles that you feel drained.

You feel like you don't know who you are anymore.

A Thoughtful, Collaborative Approach

Therapy at Tria Corda Counseling is a space to slow down, think things through, and make sense of what’s really going on—whether it is anxiety, overthinking, or relationship stress. Working together, we will explore your patterns and find strategies that truly fit your mind and life.

In our work together, you can:

  • Understand and manage mental overwhelm
  • Build healthier boundaries in relationships
  • Make decisions with more clarity
  • Approach life with greater steadiness

I take a trauma-informed approach to therapy and also honor the needs of different neurotypes. Faith or spirituality can also be thoughtfully integrated for those who desire it, without pressure.

About Tria Corda Counseling

Hi, I'm Laura! I am Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia and the founder of Tria Corda Counseling, a solo private practice where I work directly with each client. I am dedicated to providing a safe, compassionate space for teens and adults who feels anxious, mentally overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns of people-pleasing. Many clients also suspect ADHD may be a part of the picture, and I offer both therapy and clinical ADHD evaluations to help you understand how your mind works.

My approach is faith-informed, trauma-informed, and attentive to diverse ways of thinking and processing information. Drawing on both professional training and personal experience navigating ADHD, I provide strategies and tools tailored to your unique story and core values - helping you move beyond simply surviving toward feeling steady, confident, and resilient.

While I specialize in telehealth services for maximum flexibility and privacy, I also understand the value of face-to-face connection. I see clients in person at a group practice in Fairfax VA, ensuring that you have access to the setting that best supports your healing journey.
